Every cap is embroidered individually, just for you. Add a name, initials, a monogram or your logo — choose your thread color and font, preview your design, and we bring it to life stitch by stitch.
High-density embroidery on cotton twill — thread laid into the fabric, so it survives the wash instead of cracking off the way printed vinyl does.
Two lines of your own words, stitched so they stand off the cap. Raised 3D puff block capitals over a lighter serif second line — red on Navy Blue here. This is the text-first design: no crest, no icon, nothing but what you decide to say, which is why it works equally as a gift, a slogan cap and a piece of merchandise.
What you can put on it
The top line is the loud one — block capitals, up to about 10 characters, stitched in raised puff. The line beneath it takes roughly 14 characters in a lighter weight. Either line can be dropped for a single-line cap.
- A name or nickname above a role, a place or a year.
- A brand name over a tagline — the cheapest merchandise a small label can make.
- An inside joke, which is what most single orders turn out to be.
- A title and a date — “GRADUATE / 2026”, “DAD / EST 2026”.
- A band, a podcast, a shop — anything with a name and a descriptor.
The cap
- 100% cotton gabardine — a heavy, close weave that holds its shape all day and gives the needle something firm to stitch into.
- Structured five-panel crown. The front stays flat, so lettering sits square instead of buckling the way it does on a soft cap.
- Curved visor with stitched detail along the brim and embroidered ventilation eyelets.
- Metal buckle back strap, adjustable. One size, unisex.
- 11 colors: White, Beige, Camel, Olive Green, Denim Blue, Royal Blue, Navy Blue, Grey, Burgundy, Red and Black.
Merchandise runs
Text-only caps are the fastest thing we produce, because there is no artwork to digitise — you type it, we stitch it. That makes them the sensible choice for a first merchandise run when you are not sure how many you will sell: order twenty, see how it goes, reorder at the same price. Bulk pricing starts at 50 pieces. Tell us the wording and quantity.
Stitched, not printed
Every cap is embroidered to order on a commercial machine. The thread is laid into the twill, which is why the lettering catches light from the side and why it survives the wash — printed vinyl cracks and lifts after a season, embroidery does not. Raised 3D puff lettering is available on request for block text.
Nothing is stitched until you order, so there is no leftover stock and no compromise on what goes on the front. Production takes 1–5 business days and delivery 1–5 business days.
Looking after it
Hand wash in cool water and reshape while damp; a washing machine will flatten the crown and a dryer will shrink the twill. Never iron directly over the embroidery — press from the inside if you need to. Washed colors may release a little dye the first time, so wash them on their own to begin with and keep them away from anything pale.
Questions we get asked
What is 3D puff embroidery?
A foam layer is laid under the thread and trimmed after stitching, so the letters stand proud of the cap instead of sitting flat. It suits bold block capitals and does not suit thin script.
Can I have both lines in puff?
The top line, yes. A fine serif line like the one shown is better flat — puff swallows the detail. We will tell you which way round works for your text.
Any characters you cannot stitch?
Standard Latin letters, numbers and common punctuation are all fine. Emoji and very thin symbols do not translate to thread.
How fast can you turn one around?
1–5 business days of production for a single cap, because there is no artwork step, then 1–5 business days for delivery. Tell us if it is urgent.
